I know I'm a **** but that's nowt to do with me not setting foot inside the KC until the Allams **** off.

Thoughts on Marshall.

Can't help but feel people want him to fail.

I really felt for him after that error. If ever anyone didn't need that it was him.

You could see what little fragile confidence he had drain from his face.

He had looked decent up until then.

he's been a disastrous buy
hope long plays, don't want another 45 games of this guy

What did he have to do before it?

What did he have to do before it?

A difficult high ball under a lot of pressure that he delt with well. Other bread and butter stuff.

Look, he's struggled but he's our player and I'm willing him to do well.

I used to champion the Jak when most were slagging him off. Now the thought of him returning is everyone's wet dream fantasy.

he almost turned that over the line

He had it well under control.

He did well to keep hold of it when plenty of keepers would have flapped at it and bought a free-kick.

He needs confidence. The **** clearance was a disaster for him.

would help if he could dive also

Those videos show how pathetically slow Marshalls reactions are. It is very disturbing that Adkins said after the game that he'll be the starting keeper again next match. The sooner he ends this farce and takes him out of the lineup the better.

PL here we come.

Easy

You were saying, HFFP! Am here in Cyprus, stayed out to watch the 9.45 kick off here,
Positives - we were well oiled, helped to numb the pain.
Negatives - looked like seasoned professionals vs naive team yet to gel, very naive defending,....and Marshall.
Better buckle up, brace ourselves for a bumpy ride. Again.

This is my concern with him, and was before tonight
The goal kick cock up was just one of those things, you could see what he was trying to do, but he ****ed it up. Say La Vee
However his reaction time/athleticism is what looks really worrying. He always still seems to be rooted to a spot and doesn’t dive in time.

Good to see City moving on from last season’s ludicrous habit of exaggerating home gates.

This season we just aren’t bothering to reveal the attendance at all, it seems.

Marshall is not good and hasn't been for our club.
When you are picking up the kind of wages he does for performing badly my sympathy soon wanes off.
Either play Long or look to get a keeper on loan but don't stick with someone who's clearly not mentally strong enough and who's reactions are to slow for a keeper at this level.

Don't talk ****e He was at fault for the goal kick. He had no chance wth those goals

Whether you like Marshall as a player or not its hard to disagree with the fact that he's been absolutely dire for us since signing. It's literally mistake after mistake.

If Long is the more reliable keeper and can help bring a calmness to the back 4 then Adkins needs to do the right thing. My worry is that Adkins sticks with him over the coming months no matter how his form is.

We played some pretty football at times , but so did Burton last year - not always enough , when you have a core of a team as hard as the centre of a cadburys caramel , you will get nowere . Say what you want about their ability or legs going , but does Alan Hutton run through Larsson , Meyler and Dawson like that? We need to sign some experience or we have no chance

Not seen the replay but I thought it was Batty who was just shrugged off??
Not a lot De Wijs can do in the box, Hutton got his shot off and it went between his legs.

I was pleased with the display. I thought the back four got stuck in well.
Centre midfield is the problem, as we knew.
Keep saying it but Batty was nackered and should have been hooked for Irvine.

We play like this every week, we'll be fine.

Personally, I think he has lost confidence, and for a keeper that is difficult to get back. I have a feeling it won't be long before Long gets his chance.
