I'm back for a few weeks over Eid

I'm aiming to be at HQ for the Wigan game 25th August with my lad, hopefully with a few points on the board and some optimism

 

As it stands we are starting the season with a weaker squad than we finished with last season. Not feeling overly optimistic for the season ahead at this point.

Odd really, but we could sell he entire team, replace em with the ballboys and canteen staff, change the manager back to Paul Hart, but at the start of the season, I would still be fillled with the same hope and irrational optimism that keeps me buying a season ticket and this years’ (usually away) shirt. I guess it’s like buying a lottery ticket being an R’s fan, unprecedented hope over reality. So here we go again, come you R’s.
