Fabulous player. Not much of an investment though. Doubt anyone cares.

I like willian as a player but £66m for a 29 year old? Wonder what Costa would have cost?

It’s a signal of intent if nothing else that they’re putting it all into this season, probably Mourinho’s last. Brazilians don’t tend to age well.

I really rate him. Never understood why Chelsea haven’t always used him as a nailed on starter. Mourinho would probably use him as a right back.

because him and hazard together aren't compatible imo.

Saying that, he was a more regular starter than pedro last year.

He's brilliant at dribbling, has a great shot and can play some top passes. What both him and hazard like to do is get on the ball and dribble it about a bit (maybe partly contes fault, i'm not sure he taught them how to attack as a combo much, same with Jose). The other thing is, both of them don't like going out wide too much, which means the play is congested into the middle so all you have to do to stop us is put 3cbs and 2 dcms and we probably won't score.

He's a really good player and he was originally an AM i think. i wish we had played him more there than as a right winger.

Some reports saying we would be prepared to part with Harry Maguire ... for £80 million ... <whistle>

My own thoughts are that it's just press elaboration because they are not comfortable with the thought that we might just have said "not for sale" to United ... which our local rags are reporting ...

    Who knows? :emoticon-0112-wonde

£80 million, **** sake! We can't even take the moral high ground over Liverpool for pissing similar on van Dyk if we spend that.

We need a revamp at central defence though so if we buy Maguire then at least two of Jones, Rojo and Smalling should go.

All three preferably, then work with Bailly, Lindelof, Fosu Mensah and Tuanzebe.

He's quality on Twitter at times, plastic Liverpool fans hate him.
