Anywhere I am not
So, Vieira sold to Sampdoria for 7 mil Euros.

Greener grass or money?.......or a long holiday in another country.

Which means, or may mean, the funds are needed, or can be used for something, or someone else.

I personally have no qualms about Vieira going or staying. I think he was a hot and cold player but ever so slightly out of his league in championship. The move could be a good learning experience for him, he's still only young.

Went backwards last season for sure, due to his injury,so good business.
Agree and I’d imagine we have a healthy sell on clause tied into the deal. Was reading an article that stated an offer came in and it was down to Bielsa if he wished to accept or not. Bielsa accepted and the article pointed out it shows Bielsa isn’t interested in building for the future, he is being ruthless and you need to be good enough to play this season or you’re out.

So, a World Cup u20 winner has left the club to play for a team that has played champions league football but we don’t think he’s good enough for Leeds??

Poor decision

Fair enough he's not in our plans but loan him out

Too good to be loaned out. We’ve got Sacko, Ekuban still contracted to the club, Murphy, O’Kane and probably Quasim Buoy all to come back and we sell Vieira????

He's not good enough on the ball for Bielsas tactics so loaning him would help him improve and stop him going sale, bad decision selling him though

Possibly the injury but also remember a post on here a year ago by WJ I think questioning his attitude. Something along the lines of him and his brother with girlfriends not mingling with the other players. I like Vieira and am a bit sad to see him sold but sometimes he did play as though he had to rather than wanted to.

Anyway, onwards and upwards, a little more investment in one or two more quality players and I think we have a chance (cue Glory and Meathman attack)

I like the two signings so far.as for the loans we will see as our record is woefull.still need a defender six foot six classy midfielder and another striker.

News to me, old boy. Haven't heard that one, & suspect I'd have read it if it was up on here.

Only non-football story I heard about him was when one of the players was being interviewed & they were going through the usual questions like 'who's got most pace in the team', etc. The question 'who's the thickest in the squad' was sprung & the answer was 'Vieira', the example being cited that he'd just put the wrong kind of fuel in his car & killed it.
