Good Morning to Matt and co from a sunny Cote de Bardsey
Well I think that £7m for Viera is great business and get rid of Sacko to boot .Rather concerned we are mentioned with Pennington let him go to Wigan to team up with OKane
Still like to think we have still 2 signings in the pipeline when asked a few days ago how many signings I said 5 as we have now signed 3 that leaves a CB and another striker; For not a lot of money I like the look of Nelson Oliviera .An elegant striker composed and passionate and would lead the line well .The Norwich manager doesn't like him so a bid around £3m mark should start the ball rolling
The CB it seems that another Chelsea loanee is coming to join his 2 mates
Lets forget about Vydra and let him stew he has fallen out with Derby and really I think he will regret messing us about I hope so
Hernandez must realize that he will have to get fit and then reduce his wage demands by 70k a week
Finally as I learned yesterday don't take out Admiral insurance on your as you have to tell them about speed awareness course which to me makes no sense have you have not been charged with anything!
Morning Mike, is Oliviera the lad we tried to sign from Brentford, that went to Norwich? I thought he was a winger?

Morning Chippy. from my experience most people who drive irresponsibly and take risks are well under 55.

I would agree but there is always one belligerent person that deviates from the normal conventions and know better.
The worst drivers are to be found at either end of the age and experience spectrum for different reasons.

Morning all. I would not sign Vydra for free. I am not expecting Leeds to play like Barcelona on Sunday. That will not happen overnight. Good teams take time to develop, but Marcelo is altering the culture at the club, and I believe the kids and most of the seniors are buying into it. Whatever happens on Sunday we will improve. Good luck lads.
Good morning everyone
Totally agree Duke,if after our first 6 tough opening fixtures we are in the top six i for one will be very happy with the start we have made. Can't wait for sundays game,it will be tough to get something from that game, but i don't think we will lose, predicting a 1-1 draw or 2-1 Leeds, also relieved Shaqiri dosn't play for them any more, think he would have run riot in this division.Bottom line is,as Duke said, as the team gells we will get stronger as the season progresses, instead of falling away like we usually do.I like most of us am looking forward to the ride ahead.ROCK ON LEEDS :1980_boogie_down:

Morning SW, when you look at the players we have specifically signed on loan, the likes of Borthwick-Jackson, Pennington and Grimes, which now have been replaced by the cream of the crop of young talent, we have definitely moved forward.

Morning all.

Vieira £7M ?
Taylor £7M ?
Cooke £10M ?
Byram £4M ?

Not exactly sure on the actual transfer fees we received but that's a fantastic return on players who were signed for free.

When you add on the £18M for Wood and other bits and bobs it means around £50M has come into the club with he vast majority of that in the last 12-24 months.

Attendances also soared at ER last season to over the 30K mark bringing even further revenues into the club.

When we then add the £10M investment from the 69ers you would think that the club would be in rude financial health and if not why not.

So the questions are ?

Should we expect more from the club in terms of financial outlay to try and achieve promotion ? Or do we have the balance about right by not risking financial melt down but keep refreshing the squad in the hope that we eventually manage to get a decent side together by improving the squad season on season ?

Is Radz a fair and competent owner who is reinvesting the transfer funds received by paying higher wages for better quality players ? Or will the accounts show another loss with hidden miscellaneous costs incurred by the club with no detailed explanation as to the reasons for these charges ?

I would venture to suggest that the answer to your question is obvious and the rape goes on....
