Morning Mike, is Oliviera the lad we tried to sign from Brentford, that went to Norwich? I thought he was a winger?
I would agree but there is always one belligerent person that deviates from the normal conventions and know better. The worst drivers are to be found at either end of the age and experience spectrum for different reasons.
Good morning everyone Totally agree Duke,if after our first 6 tough opening fixtures we are in the top six i for one will be very happy with the start we have made. Can't wait for sundays game,it will be tough to get something from that game, but i don't think we will lose, predicting a 1-1 draw or 2-1 Leeds, also relieved Shaqiri dosn't play for them any more, think he would have run riot in this division.Bottom line is,as Duke said, as the team gells we will get stronger as the season progresses, instead of falling away like we usually do.I like most of us am looking forward to the ride ahead.ROCK ON LEEDS
Morning our leader morning everyone. Sorry nearly forgot, busy looking for hooks and other fishing accessories.
Morning SW, when you look at the players we have specifically signed on loan, the likes of Borthwick-Jackson, Pennington and Grimes, which now have been replaced by the cream of the crop of young talent, we have definitely moved forward.
Morning all from Cabo Roig. Wonder what other surprises will the next week of transfers turn up after the sudden Viera sale
Morning all. Vieira £7M ? Taylor £7M ? Cooke £10M ? Byram £4M ? Not exactly sure on the actual transfer fees we received but that's a fantastic return on players who were signed for free. When you add on the £18M for Wood and other bits and bobs it means around £50M has come into the club with he vast majority of that in the last 12-24 months. Attendances also soared at ER last season to over the 30K mark bringing even further revenues into the club. When we then add the £10M investment from the 69ers you would think that the club would be in rude financial health and if not why not. So the questions are ? Should we expect more from the club in terms of financial outlay to try and achieve promotion ? Or do we have the balance about right by not risking financial melt down but keep refreshing the squad in the hope that we eventually manage to get a decent side together by improving the squad season on season ? Is Radz a fair and competent owner who is reinvesting the transfer funds received by paying higher wages for better quality players ? Or will the accounts show another loss with hidden miscellaneous costs incurred by the club with no detailed explanation as to the reasons for these charges ?
