Not here to mock you,Maynard is quality as you saw at your place,he tore you apart.
He will sign for a prem side,if not he is likely to sign a contract with a prem release in it.
he scored 2 goals
he hardly tore us apart
ill be glad when the window closes and your £6m winfall drops to £2m
its too much money for a sicknote and he was hardly deadly in your next game after us

AJ had a solid goalscoring record at Palace (where he was a one-man team), struggled at Everton and has had bad injury problems at Fulham, whilst scoring the occasional goal. I would take him IF one of Maynard and Yak failed to materialise, but he'd be behind Beckford, Cox, Macheda and Jong on Sven's allmighty list.

It appears that AJ will not be going to Leicester after all,(note, no other team is interested).
There are several reasons why this move is not on.
Players wage demands are to high.
Wishes to sign a lengthy contract. 3years ?.
Leicesters management think, fee to high 3mil, injury prone, goalscoring record abismal.

I'm not surprised that the Leicester thing hasn't come off. My memory of AJ's time with England - when Sven was manager - is that he was never played in his true position as striker, only parked out on the wing. Then when Palace were relegated, he reportedly asked Sven if playing in the Championship would have an impact on his England prospects, was told that it wouldn't, stayed at Palace and was never picked again! If the impression I got of all that is anywhere near accurate, then I'd think twice about signing for Sven if I was AJ.

This will more than likely still be the case again. Sven is stubbon with his 4-3-3
