I think on the evidence so far we will stay up, despite what the occassional binner might say. Did not play so well against Wigan, managed a draw. Much better against the biggest thugs in the PL and were very unlucky not to win. as for the Chelski game, yes shakey at the back early on but after 15 minutes gave as good as we got until Ruddy got sent off, changed the game completely.
We have lessons to learn and we will. we are improving with each game and this will continue. As we saw at the weekend , Man Utd put 8 past Arsenal, no one is predicting the drop for them.
Not concerned what any binners think, WE WILL STAY UP!!!!!
I have watched City for many years and attended CR most home games until I came here. I have been amazed at the improvement in our game over the last 3 weeks and anyone who is impartial would not deny we looked very good at times against Chelski.
We should fear no one (but we must stop geting caught out at the back) can't wait to WBA, first win of the season..................OBTC<party>

Well I don't know of anywhere I can see it so I'll just have to take your word for it on the Stoke game.

No-one was making any excuses in light of the refereeing decisions at Posh though. It was two offsides, two sendings off and a penalty that never was that took it to 5-1. If that doesn't happen it's 2-1 and 11 v 11 --- but at the end of the day we weren't good enough to deserve any better luck, we held a high line and the strikers could easily have worked the line better, Martin's tackle was hot headed even though the lino flagged for a throw.

Bad decisions happen to everyone - it's not an excuse! If you really do think it's happening then your players quickly need to get streetwise because there are high stakes in the Prem and if a player gets clipped he will hit the deck.

I must admit, I was puzzled by the lino giving a throw for the Martin clash! If he'd been any closer he would have been taken out himself! And as for the penalty, even if the 'D' counted as inside the box, it would still have been well outside <yikes>

I'm afraid I can't go along with this "Luck balances out" theory. If you throw a coin heads five times in a row it's still a 50/50 chance of being heads the sixth time.We have had bad luck for the first three gamesand Iam happy that we have taken two points and been far from humiliated at Chelsea.

On the subject of which,if you watch the Ramires incident in slo-mo he begins to fall prior to contact being made. Now I am not sayingthat ruddy would not have brought him down anyway, but he initiated simulation so he should have got a yellow card as well.

Only if the officials can see that is what happened. We have the benefit of action replays and possibly a better angle to view some incidents. Even without the slow motion I thought he was on his way down before contact was made but it is not opinion that counts - sadly.

I think, unless we gain a lot of momentum then we will be staying this position. We may be play off contenders but thats as high as I expect us to go and even that may be pushing it.
Norwich may well struggle in the premiership but I dont think they are the worst team and will be fighting with a few others to be 4th bottom. Wigan and Blackburn hardly inspire confidence. Norwich and Swansea need to adjust and I think it may also depend on who QPR can splash their cash on today. My vote goes on us being at this level and Norwich being 4th bottom but its rather hard to call.

Which is all the more reason for replays to be allowed OR alternatively have another official looking at these incidents and apply some kind of post match punishment like adding a yellow to their tally or a one match ban etc. If players knew they would be punished even if they get away with it in live play it might make some think twice

Replay or not, he wouldn't have been booked anyway. it was a foul. Think about the motion of it. If you see a goalkeeper's arms coming towards your legs you don't keep running in a straight line as if nothing's going to happen - you brace yourself - and if it's inside the box you hit the deck. It was a split second, there was no intention to simulate.

Can't believe the debate has got to Norwich fans talking about a player being booked when he's been torn down in what everyone agrees is a foul.

Utter madness. Just goes to show youve lost all perspective.

That is an opinion but you make it sound you are THE authority on the subject. Chill out Hampy, it didn't effect you or your team.
My opinion is different as stated many times on this particular subject but I am not saying I am right.

Yes it was a foul, I have not seen anyone suggest otherwise.
What I have seen is people saying there was a hint of 'professionalism' about the Chelsea player. Nothing wrong with discussing that at all <ok>

Very strange that last season most budgie fans seemed to deem a professional foul last season as brushing a 16 stone striker's little finger just outside the centre circle a straight red, yet this season a brazil international rounds the keeper in the penalty area is deemed as only a yellow?

What a hypocritical world we live in!

No Guru, that is not what I am saying at all (just to burst your bubble ) but that is not what was being discussed.

Most players, in the right circumstances, will play for a foul or penalty if they think they will get away with it - even Ipswich, if they feel they can/will get an advantage from it.

But Thai? You're contradicting yourselves. You're saying we should look at replays and give Ramires a booking?

So in that case then, What the **** are your supporters whinging about! Seems to me as you lot think its ok for Grunt and co to go down easily, yet as soon as the opposition does it you want yellow cards flashed all over the place.

you're a bunch of ****ing hypocrites!
