It used to be a Cheshire accent. When I meet people from England now they all assume I'm from the Midlands... It's quite horrifying people telling me I sound like I'm from the Midlands. <laugh>

I guess if you cross Cheshire with living in the US for 26 years you get Midlands.
That's got to be the worst accent in the English speaking world - and I'm including Aussie in there <laugh> I don't believe you could possibly sound like that.

<laugh> I don't think I do sound like that... But I've had several ex Pats ask me if I'm from there. I HOPE it's because I have neither a strong Northern or Southern accent and not like I sound like I'm actually from the Midlands. <laugh>

When I hear my voice recorded, to me, I still sound like Cheshire but not as strong as it used to be.

To me the worst accent is the US lower mid-western accent. People from Colorado and near there sound awful to me. Almost like a metallic voice.

I like all US accents and I've become quite good at identifying accents to States. There's loads of accents like Manchester, some Lancashire, Scots and brummie that are far worse imo.

I'm used to most. I don't dislike most of them I'I neutral to them... I'm fine with Southwestern. I'm fine with Midwestern... It's the blend I don't like. Colorado, West Texas, Utah, Kansas... That part of the country.

No, never watched it. The Texas drawl can be annoying as are any of the drawl accents because it sounds like they're putting it on but I quite like it. <laugh>

I don't know why but I've always had an ear for foreign languages as well and loved learning them in school and Italian as a hobby. I'm a bit weird but you know that by now <ok>

I've had two coworkers I was sure had to be gay. From the voice to the mannerisms to... Well everything about them looked like a walking stereotype.

Both turned out to be married with children. I was shocked when I found that out about both of them.
