Yes, but we've still got to find someone to pay his new "Prem" wages unless he accepts less or we pay the difference.

Maybe time to cut him loose at a reasonable cost, or even on a free if it helps another club to match what he'd get if he stayed with us.
 
Pilks, Camp & Tomlin told they can go, my thought is there will be no fee either way, if they get an offer it's up to them.

Shades of Cornelius as "one for the future" - the same age and about the same fee mentioned. I can't believe Tan would want the budget spent on a future prospect at the expense of a more "insurance" type player to help us stay up.

That is unless Warnock has convinced him that the kid can step up. Maybe he's thinking about Champions League in 2 years time?.....<whistle>

At least he's more of a known quantity with 60+ Championship appearances and some England age related games. Agreed he's a risk but a much more calculated one.
 
Think Warnock is playing his cards close to his chest. Trying to drive the best deals but willing to walk away. Already told West Brom that £15M for their winger is too much and that he won't wait much longer for Grujic.

No flies on him........

WoL report it as news, but he became a free agent when his contract expired at the end of June.

Another in a tough position through no fault of his own. A previous manager obviously thought he was better than he actually was.
 
Not a problem for me. Colin has his targets and this guy isn't one of them. Or is he playing media mind games again?

I'm sure all will be revealed in the next couple of weeks. I think Grujic remains his main aim.
 
Healy got another FIVE for the U23s last night.
Putting his hand up for a place in the 25 or merely making him easier to move on in the next few weeks.
He does seem a natural goal scorer.

Can’t see him being part of the 25 though.
