Potential purchase from Bristol city for 6m accorinding to many sauces in the media today. He’s a left back. Thoughts? Still not a striker though is he!
All we will do is monitor the **** out of him. Fatty will then go on holiday. Time then runs out. He goes to Burnley or Saints.
Be very negative for his career. Hopefully Ringmaster Rafa will stop the circus and get his contract signed.
No chance of that. Rafa will walk st the end of the season. I would. The only way Rafa stays is if there are new owners. Which won’t happen as Mike is an impossible **** to deal with.
Sign the contract and we spend. Don’t and we continue with a cautious approach. I know who the **** is.
Indeed, he's even been known to travel to the Middle East with his team of trusty advisors and then not actually attend the sales meeting. So if he goes to all that effort not to sell the club then little wonder it's easy for him to string along the last set of potential buyers and then call them time wasters before increasing the price of the club in order to, er, attract more interest. Ashley will be at the club for at least another decade.
Actually, I think he's right - feels like it's a bit of a cock measuring competition between Ashley and Benitez right now. Once Ashley gets his way and Rafa signs money will miraculously be discovered down the back of the sofa.....
Looking at history, MA must have desperately wanted to measure cocks with Pardew. Luckily for him McLaren obliged straight away and must have had a tiny one.
£33million transfer budget per season over the 3 years offered on the latest contract to be pushed Rafa's way to sign (big whoop). That's if we're believing whats in the papers. I guess we must be because that is where Pouchy is getting his latest... 'Insights' from.
So you agree it’s not Rafa then. At least that’s some progress. Now just need to stop the wumming and you’ll almost be there.
I’ll let that bait just drift on by you old sea dog. I have too many battle scars to fall for that old ‘switcheroo’ You do seem to be reeling a few in though..
The thing is, there's no guarantee that those funds will be made available anyway. We've heard this before, time and time again, and this time there has to be something more solid than "I promise..." by Ashley because, frankly, his promises last about as long as some of the tat from his stores (he says looking at his Karrimor hiking boots whose soles have divorced themselves from their uppers).
That Rafa simply hasn't signed it says enough. £100m is crap, over 3 years, and is just a spun lie as this is more or less what he has. Trouble is, around 40% always disappears on salary + agents, so it is what we fear; around £20m for transfers, every year. Seems the owner knows his best shot at selling is having Rafa there, at least. I'd imagine Rafa knows this too.
