The 7 million quid is a permanent issue.
So is Murray's presence and involvement.

He is very much a thorn in the side of this deal.So is Murray's presence and involvement.
Confused about what?Clb74 is a confused man.
They will be given a chance, they have to be.Confused about what?
With all that's going on will you be welcoming the Aussies with open arm?.
I said a couple of weeks ago I will see how it pans out and might back the season ticket. They will be given a chance, they have to be.
How's the cat btw?
Like f*** you will.I said a couple of weeks ago I will see how it pans out and might back the season ticket.
If things don't change and we continue to hear nothing fro the Aussies , I can see the season ticket going back and even if the Aussies buy the club a couple of months in me not renewing the ticket.

I have been reliably/unreliably ? informed that nothing will happen with the Aussie takeover bid until a key member of the Aussie consortium returns from holiday in September... and if the Belgian doesn't change his negotiating tactics, by then, this guy will pull out and the Aussie bid will be toast.
The truth in this I don't know? but that is what I was told.
I don't see any reason to get angry with the Aussies, except for the fact that they clumsily raised false hopes. Nobody is angry with the alleged other interested party, because they didn't raise false hopes. assuming they exist. All other potential buyers have walked away, nobody is angry with Donald Muir or the Saudis. The bottom line is that Roland has failed to sell the club, having made a total mess of it for 4 years, and for me the blame lies with the Belgian alone for the failure to sell. Alex McLeish said publicly that D Muir pulled out because Roland was asking too much, and there quite simply is the reason why we still have Roland for the foreseeable future. The longer it goes on the more likely the Aussies are to pull out, surely.

Forest the Aussies agreed the price for the club ,a lot more than a lot of fans would of paid.I don't see any reason to get angry with the Aussies, except for the fact that they clumsily raised false hopes. It seems to me that the only reason Charlton Athletic are still here is because Roland is spending £1M per month of his own money to make it so.
He saves you every month that he writes out that cheque - yet is met wit nothing but vitriol.
Seems you lot should be going to Belgium to thank the fella - not abuse him!!

A poor effort by your standards.
Did you thank Reg Burr at the time ?
Seriously, look at all the good Roland has done.
1) Saved you from admin when nobody else could
2) Loses £1m per month - doesn't have to, but his love of the club makes him
3) Keeps fans favourite Richard Murray on board
4) Gives Lee Bowyer the managers job which most of you wanted
5) Assembled a team that reached the playoffs

it's not quite a million anymore as he's cut back on staff and players so much. plus he's constantly taken chunks of player sale money to fund his lifestyle / teeth cleaning needs.
personally, i'd like to see him let us fold. we'd start off in L2 again, which we aint far off now anyway as this year will be a struggle. but we wont be handicapped by having any belgian employees as he wont be allowed back near us, plus it'd give him a right good kick in the wallet for what he's done.
