alonso i Hungary - Fernando was on super softs of around the same age give or take a few laps as Sebastians hard tyres! Seb pulled of a cracking pass on Alonso, someone who doesnt give in too easily...

But the Softs (not SS) were the better tyre for some reason. Everyone on them were about a second faster than the option runners.

I suppose we could go into great detail about every overtake, but an overtake is an overtake and Seb has done a fair few good ones, even if they are few and far between lol.

Even kartikeyan could make some decent overtaking manouvres in that red bull. Newey is making vettel look better than he is.

spa last year, turkey last year, hungary this year, germany this year etc. The guy is a one man cockup machine.

Welcome to my ignore list. You are more of a "cockup machine" than Sebastian Vettel ever was, to use your words.

mephi, i suggest you go listen to his coments after he hits someone then, for example when he drove into the back of Kovy and took off he blamed kovi for the whole incident

As lets face it you use a car thats about 3 seconds a lap slower than you for slipstream...no brainer as far as I'm concerned that crash was all Webbers fault, and as has been pointed out Mark can be f*%k 'em I'm coming through

I watched the highlights show last night and they never even showed the overtake this thread is about.

If Hamilton had done it we'd have seen it from every angle in Slow motion, real time, infra-red, black and white and sepia. If they're any bit as biased in Austria they'll still be watching it now. :D

Well at least Peter Windsor on the flying lap mentioned it yesterday and said how hard it was to pull off.

I hear they would copy it into a 3D computer model, making it possible to view the overtakes from such angles and the rear near side wheel, and the right barge board <ok>
