None of which I'd argue with. Doesn't mean they'll all settle though. Law of averages suggests at least one will flop

I will say his quick distribution is very good, which is something we need with our style

I can't remember, was Ox one of Ramos's victims? I remember Ox getting injured but not how it happened.

He did a sliding tackle right on the side line - I thought at the time that he didn't need to make the tackle as the ball was going out. Hope he gets back quicker than expected. Missed the CL final and the WC - shame

The spine of our team will be transformed in 12 months. Mane was our best player a year ago, while Bobby was picking up nicely. Roll on 12 months and We’ve added Salah, VvD and Robertson last season.and now we’re adding keita, Fabhino, Shaqiri, Alisson and possibly Fekir.

Of the players he inherited, only Firminho and Lovren will be left from the first team he inherited - how the hell does our captain fit into the first eleven? TAA was promoted so doesn’t count....

I can see more than a few peripheral players leave tbh but if all the new signings have a similar impact to his prior signings, our team will progress lots this season....although my guess is that they’ll be eased into the 11 and we won’t see the future team until the second half of the year.

There's talk of Gini seeking a move (at least assurances about game time) so he might well be off, particularly if we sign Fekir. Wouldn't blame him, he wasn't even guaranteed a starting spot last season and we've signed two midfielders already for big money, possibly a third still to come! Not even sure he'd be making our bench if you fielded our strongest XI. Would be a shame as we'd have a solid squad for the first time in years and he seems a good fit for the club.

Fabinho, Keita, Henderson, Milner, Lallana, Ox, maybe Fekir and Gini is a bit too many...

Edit, with Ox out for most of the season, hopefully we can convince him to stay a bit longer and that he'll get enough game time.

    Klopp's update on Oxlade-Chamberlain's expected lay-off
    Chris Shaw @__ChrisShaw

Jürgen Klopp has revealed the expected length of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's injury lay-off and detailed the agreed approach taken to his rehabilitation by the club, player and manager.

The Liverpool midfielder is likely to miss the vast majority of the 2018-19 season and competitive game time before the end of the campaign would be a bonus.

Oxlade-Chamberlain sustained multiple ligament damage when attempting a tackle during the first half of the Champions League tie with AS Roma at Anfield in April.

The 24-year-old underwent surgery eight days after suffering the injury – his only operation – which was a complete success.

The estimated length of his lay-off was not revealed at the time at the request of Oxlade-Chamberlain, who did not want the news to distract from the Reds’ ongoing Champions League run and the excitement surrounding it.

His rehabilitation remains in line with the timeframe outlined following his

I dont think he will give a stuff. I think he wanted to play last year and was told he would be no 3.

In the end mingolet has to go but who will take him I don't know.
