That happened to friends of mine at Cardiff lol they just had to bluff it out .... they walked rather fast lol
Not surprised at the low Argyle turnout. This is the JP Trophy nothing competition. I'd rather people save their money for Home Park anyway.
Didn't get a single pen, says it all about our accuracy really. Having said that we deserved something from this.
3-0 on penalties. It shows how bad our shooting is when they can not put it past the keeper one-on-one from the spot. Nevermind, looked like the lads had a good game anyway, they should be proud. I think we all expected Exeter to knock them for six.
Still got the radio on and they have been playing "Simply the Best". Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!! Confidence is all it is. I'd rather judge them on the actual match and by the sound of it they were pretty good and even their Manager had good words to say about them. That is the second time they have come back from one down but sadly both away from home. But, this time they did come back in 90 minutes so have to take the positive out of that.
In fairness it has been so long since we actually got awarded a penalty we should expect to be rusty, hopefully a confidence boost for the team though and can push on from here.
TBH I didn't expect anything but positive comments from sensible, he is THE eternal optimist. I agree that the fact we came back into the match during the 2nd half was a promising sign and I agree that Tisdale's comments were encouraging BUT professional players missing all their penalties? That truly shocked me. i couldn't believe Fletcher missed his - unbelievable! How difficult can it be???
