Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas is open to Liverpool renewing their efforts to sign Nabil Fekir, writes Ian Doyle. In an interview with le10sport, the veteran chief of the French club declared: “It seems to me that Liverpool could come back in. “Nabil is much closer to Lyon today than he was when we talked to Liverpool. “Maybe he will go to Liverpool, or another club, but if he stays at Lyon, it will be a great year for him and for us.”
He's a prick. Thought he'd get people talking before the world cup hoping Nabil would have a stormer then sell for double... Nabil ends up benched for 99% of the world cup. ****ing idiot.
Not that you should buy anyone based on an International tournament but when he did play he was a bit meh. .
Lyon are desperate to sell Nabil Fekir, and Liverpool have asked them to lower the asking price which they have not done. Other clubs do not seem to be interested.
Lyon were so worried about being seen as the next roma or Southampton that they forgot they actuslly need to sell the guy Really sure lfc bring good players on to become 200mil world stars but you can't grumble when you got your value for the player
To be fair, the deal was agreed including fee. Something obviously came up in the medical and we probably wanted to restructure the deal accordingly. Recent articles from article and other local journos have said that we want a number 10. Other than Dybala, it seems like Fekir is pretty much the number one target. This deal gets done in the next week I hope. And I hope we go big for Alisson and a RCB. Alisson rumours are picking up now as well.

Wilson closing in on loan exit Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Harry Wilson is set to leave Liverpool on loan. The 21-year-old recently signed a new five-year deal following a loan spell at Hull last season. Wilson was left out of Klopp’s squad for the friendly against Bury on Saturday. And the German said: “Harry has a lot of interest in him from different clubs, so no risk now. “[Playing] with a little bit tired legs during the game, that makes no sense. So Harry has a little session at home.”
