Lovren always struggled at LCB, something you regularly said yourself. VVD coming in released Lovren to play his more favoured RCB role. Whenever Lovren and Matip were fit and available, Klopp played the Croatian! Lots on here constantly did their line up predictions with Matip in, I regularly pointed out they'd be wrong only to be proven right on each and every occasion!
Regarding your last point - I must have missed that bit. I know they were rotated but I recall matip being the starter before having his surgery (even though he was playing with an injury). Either way, whether Lovren is being replaced this summer or next, it will happen. Klopp is addressing the weaknesses in a methodical manner. I love it. The media won’t know what to do when their favourites are starting on the bench in most games
Please Jimmy you are only embaressing yourself now. Is moving a player from the position Rodgers stuck him replacing? Klopp moved firmino to no 9... he moved lallana to no 8. Lallana has been injured for a season tbh.. he has lavished praise on lallana at every chance as he recovered. He moved lovren to rcb.... It seems to me that despite your arguments klopp has actuslly looked at guys and put them where their best abilities can be exploited. The thing is this is not about my opinion of these players bht klopps. I think lallana is a bottler and lovren is an accident waiting to happen but my opinion is irrelevant. I'd love to know which media you think like Henderson Moreno and lovren. They are the butt of every joke going. Karius will be too. Lallana might get an easy ride due to being English but thats about it.
Milner talking about considering retirement or taking a managrmenm role. We should offer him a player coach role now. Someone with his mentality and attitude is someone you want to stay at the club. When his playing days are over he could move full time into coaching... Maybe management one day. He's one player that I can definitely see being a successful manager one day.
