What was he going to do? Pass it to serial goal misser and former Scouser, Raheem Sterling? I think we all know what he'd have done.
I think he might be concussed.

In all honesty, do you think in the back of Kane’s mind, he wondered whether sterling might **** it up when he could have squared to him ?

I know strikers want to score themselves and Kane was probably confident he could have finished it himself, but the pass was 100% on for a tap in.

What was he thinking ?

He's a striker. They don't think when they're in that position, they just shoot.
