According too?? Not having a dig, just saying it’s paper talk and most of it is crap and pure guess work. Blackman was pictured at TA two weeks ago, is it the same people in Phil Hay and company who are claiming we are waiting on a medical, the same ones who told us expect a keeper to be signed by the end of last week?

The same ones who told us the Vydra hold up was us not willing to go to £11m then telling us he is also set for a medical. The same paper gossip who were feeding us with how we were going to snap up the Man City and Spurs reserve squad due to Bielsa links.

Why is £50k a week for a player like Hernandez out of the question? Example, £3m signing on fee, £50k a week over 3 years, total £10.8m we were willing to pay £11m for Vydra. Sell Roofe for £10m sign Hernandez give him the wages and if in 18 months we are no closer to promotion sell him for £10m and we’re still in profit.

Again not saying this maliciously but I think you’re starting to believe the gossip on twitter too much ;)

Hernandez and Vydra still possibilities but their wages demands are close to 50k per week each, and Leeds refuse to go near that, and you can't blame them.

Both players are not being swarmped with offers, and both want to stay in England. Leeds are leaving the offers on the table.

Just one of those would be a start.
 
Alan Nixon replying to Leeds fans on Twitter that basically the Hernandez and Vyrda deals are dead. He is from the sun newspaper so make of it what you will. The rest of the rumours are on NN so probably made up. If we can’t go to 11 million for Vyrda we certainly can’t go 15+ for Assombalonga.

Exactly, I’m not sure if it’s lazy journalism or the club wasting time trying to fool the fans that an effort is being made, worse still I hope they’re not trying to fool Bielsa. I’ve said it before, no way do I believe Vydra expected £30k a week, sat down to talk and upped his demand to £50k a week, it’s nonsense.

We either failed to find out what his expectations were or we were foolish to believe we could negotiate him down selling him the Bielsa dream, either way it’s time wasting nonsense and even though I’ve defended Rads many times I’m starting to smell the PR ticket sales nonsense.

I really just don’t get it though, if we were genuinely willing to go £11m and £30k a week for Vydra then Hernandez at £50k a week is still cheaper. Look at the surplus we’ve been shipping out the last two weeks, none of it makes sense.

Bartley at £4m would jump at the chance to come here, if Bielsa doesn’t want him then who is the alternative? There has to surely be an alternative because if Bielsa would prefer Cooper over Bartley then he might as well be shown the door now as every Leeds fan can tell him the outcome of that one over a season.

Morning London, I wouldn't want Assombalonga. I would have to google the spelling of his name for 6 months...

I certainly am very proud of the team no I said quite clearly you were wrong yet again by stating we would be in the final and that you were going so I assumed you would still go to watch the reserves play on Sat

Decent competition for BPF not the first or second choice for me but can’t be worse than Felix or Lonergan. Two loan signings in, let’s hope an exciting signing is around the corner.

St Petersburg is a 4 hour train trip from Moscow ...
I did think about it but the game means nothing..
to leave the Mrs behind to see a World Cup semi final/ final can be justified. A 3rd place play off can’t..

KLM got me back so quick she isn’t here to pick me up!
 
Real Madrid have sent Juni Calafat (Head of recruitment) to Paris to negotiate a move for Neymar!

They are willing to offer Neymar a contract worth €49m a year WITHOUT bonuses!
