I think you'll get Martial if he pushes for the move tbh.

Martial would be brilliant. Our team needs a midfield playmaker though whos actually good in all areas and is creative.

Kante is the best at what he does but ask him to play a raking ball or to drive through a midfield and have the vision to then lay it off and he's about as useful as boris johnson.

That's why i'd take a player like pogba

Pogba would be out of your reach mate, we'd be wanting at least £120m for him. He's a megabrand.

Jean Seri - one of Chelsea’s top targets - has rejected them in favour of signing a four year deal with their rivals, Fulham.

i see what you did there <laugh>

for the record, we don't need 2 midgets in the centre of the mid.

Could’ve replaced the potentially departing Kante, mate.

Surely if France win the World Cup, “World Cup Winner” N’Golo Kante won’t wanna be playing Europa League football next season? His stock won’t be higher and I’m damn sure a trip to F.C. ****ingNowhereova won’t be too appealing to him?

That's some top quality bait.

It's precisely because he's not an egotistical player, still probably drives a mini that the boy loves playing football and he's guaranteed a spot in our side.

Also he knows that Chelsea will be taking your place at the top of the table because you boys have moved to a library and all your players are knackered from the world cup to make an impact on the league

Cheers bro!

He may not be egotistical but I think he’s smart. Left Leicester after they won the Prem, knowing they wouldn’t be able to repeat that brilliant feat. Now he’s in a predicament where he’s at a club who’ve just scrapped plans on a new stadium, has an owner losing their rag, a managerial fiasco, Europa League football and the potential of losing a few key players (Hazard - Real, Willian - Barca/ Utd, Courtois - Pool/ Real). Having conquered England, a move to his native France could be tempting I reckon, PSG are in need of a Motta replacement while Rabiot seems intent on leaving.

He is smart and he could move to PSG. I think PSG have bigger fish to fry though, they are the new real madrid and want big names.

I'm not sure Kante fits into that big name hype.

touche on the assessment of chelsea though <laugh>. I am worried about how this season is shaping for us at the moment.

As long as we keep one of Hazard and Willian we'll be okay, if we lose both then it could be a long season

Haha I can’t deny it’s pretty enjoyable to watch at the moment. As funny as I’d find it if it did happen, realistically you won’t lose more than two of those players, if that to be honest.

Now the WC is more or less over, I’m looking forward to the next few weeks of the window. No one other than City with Mahrez has made me think “****, what a signing” (maybe Keita at Pool but that was technically done last season) so it’ll be interesting to see who makes some major moves.

i'm actually worried that pool could win the league. For me they are one of the contenders alongside city.

They have sorted out their midfield imo and they scare teams with their pace. Adding shaqiri adds to their depth. The only thing that can rule them out is that their fullbacks have an inconsistent year, injury to their front 3 and also them having karius in goal and lovren in defence

I think it’s City’s again.

Pool have made improvements but I don’t think it’ll be enough to win the league, especially if they stick with Karius.

City signing Mahrez is gonna make them ridiculous.

Anyone know much about Sarri? Never really heard of the bloke before up until he was linked with their job.

Surprised Chelsea have got rid of Conte, top manager.

... <laugh> we said exactly the same Bobbysox (only difference was he could have played Champions League if he'd stayed with us ... not Europey <whistle>) . if PSG follow up their interest he'll be off quicker than you can say "I really should read what people actually post"...
