Barely watched any of the Championship last season so can't comment on Gunn, but in theory this is exactly what I wanted in terms of the GK situation. Forster leaving, bringing in a young keeper and someone who can compete for the number 1 shirt with McCarthy as we don't really know how good he is. OK so Gunn ticks both categories for the young and competing but we also re-signed Jack Rose as (I'm assuming) the u23 keeper and we must rate him at least a little bit so I am happy with this scenario.

Wonder where Forster is going? Watford have signed Ben Foster now so off the top of my head I can't think of an obvious destination, unless he is going to be number 2 at one of the big clubs to make up the English quota. Think that is probably the best option for him anyway tbh.

Usually Everton and Wetspam are linked with every player that becomes available

My money is on West Ham.

I dunno, both have better keepers than Forster so would be an expensive back up. I think it is more likely he goes to Chelsea or even City if they get rid of Bravo to fill the English quota. Would be tempting for him as well I'd imagine.

Would seem odd given that they've signed Fabianski.

Exactly. Without thinking too much into it Newcastle might be an option, although they did sign a keeper in January, but apart from that I am struggling to think of anywhere that he would be number 1 who haven't signed a keeper in recent times.

Pleasantly surprised we managed to get both McCarthy and Gunn to sign 5 year contracts. very interested to see how this pans out, can only see positives atm.
