Anyway, would love it if he played against city next season and pistol over them.
It's a good long-term investment. His ceiling is far higher than Alex McCarthy's, but Alex has earned that shirt.

I'm quite excited by this. He was very impressive at Norwich last season and I know they would have loved to have had him for another season.
Good reflexes, decent distribution and not afraid to give the defenders what for. Could possibly dominate the area a bit more but that will come as he is still very young for a keeper.
I see him as being a bit like De Gea was when he first came to Man U, bit rangy and bags of potential. Fingers crossed he ends up as good.

Yep.i would like to think that alex will start as no1 keeper. Its up to gunn to take his chance if/when it comes. As you say,alex has earned that shirt. All looking very positive right now
