Came closer to scoring twice than before he was on Seriously dude... you honestly don't think they are more balanced with a skilful worker among the dandys around him up front? An unselfish guy among a bucket of selfish egos?
Aside from Firmino and maybe Douglas Costa being started, I don't know what more Brazil have to offer. Have they left anyone notable at home? Can't understand why they were rated with the favourites, other than history and name recognition with Neymar, in which case Argentina and Portugal should have been rated higher, but they weren't as their squads where ****. Really how much has changed from 4 years ago for Brazil? They play a bunch of average teams and a fading Argentina in South America
TBH it doesn't make a lot of difference to this team, maybe if they passed the ball more instead of all trying to be the star he would see more of the ball.
Exactly its what I mean... no balance... mist teams would beg for "workhorses" like a Firmino (tevez springs to mind) ... have yer neymars etc but Brazil need to start picking the odd Milner lol
Agreed, should have got the third and destroyed all Brazilian hope. Which is back as they've scored. Also they should have used subs, Demebele is needed.
Martinez is to blame here, what is he doing ball watching. The Belgium players are clearly tired but he still has Dembelle on the bench
