Sweden came back twice in that game including a 90th minute Larsson equalizer. Owen was pulled out in the first 10 mins and replaced with Crouch.
Big difference is they had a better strike force then in Larson, Ibra and Ljunberg. Can't think of a top player they have right now. Solid team but no one special playing for them.
I agree. Even a Forsberg has been more wasteful than anything I feel. Their story this World Cup has been the opposite though. Their best player by far imo has been Grandqvist who has truly been monumental thus far.
He has been very good, but the entire team has been well drilled and playing well. If they had someone more clinical up front then i would be worried, but they are quite wasteful. I wonder how they will take the pace from our forwards, but Sterling and Vardy have been dogshite so far. I'd go for Rashford over Sterling.

Sweden is a solid team, with athletic players. It is one of those matches that we would win comfortably if we start well and score early. I fancy our pacy attack against them, with the wide men Delli Ali and Lingard having lots of joy. We need to attack from the outset. Playing a slow cagey game will suit Sweden.
