Not celebrating the fact that she's karked it, that would be very poor taste indeed, but that others have started to find and post their own dead burd tributes on my humble thread. As long as fit (ok, some are not exactly fit) burds top themselves, OD on pills, get chibbed by ex-boyfriends etc this homage to those who would have been Wids when they were alive will continue.

Once blood flow stops atrophy starts to set in, cells begin to corrupt and all body fluids that aren't vacated after swelling will desiccate. This depends on the temperature and climate conditions the body is being stored in. Decomposition is accelerated in warmer and more humid climates where insects are more prevalent. Full decay (to a skeletal state) can take from as little as a few months in optimum conditions to years depending on contributing factors.

In short, you are good to go with a pot of Vaseline for a few days but you might need to hold your nose.
