    Cats, fish, spiders, snakes and hamsters I can't comment on but you can't own a dog and have it behave well without talking to it.

    umm i talk to mine all the time but since about 12% of the time what i say to it is
    "don't you dare you little ****er"
    talking to it doesn't necessarily ensure good behaviour :bandit:

    Read a book called The travelling Cat Chronicles...a Japanese tale about a bloke who's trying to give his cat away and the book is from the Cat's perspective....author Hiro Arikawa..it's a good read
