Should have had this thread from the start shouldn't we.

Anyway...

1/ Pickford

2/ Maguire

3/ Kane

And Dier, just because I thought he was going to miss his pen.

I think everyone though Dier was gonna miss that pen. Grateful that he didn't though.

Agree with OLM, as great as it was to see Dier score that penno, I'd rather he spent the rest of the tournament on the bench.

Also, Trippier is fab, but, he doesn't always get corners into the box, and needs a little work still imo, but come the next Euros, Im expecting him to be one of our top players.

Also, Sterling. Drives me mad. He's not the same as when he's playing for Man C, he loses the ball as much as Aluko did, but we simply look more dangerous when he's on the pitch. He's an enigma wrapped up in a riddle.

Maguire
Trippier

I'm grateful to Dier for scoring the winning penalty, but I really hope that's his last contribution in this World Cup. <sorry>

I agree you shouldn't have both him and Henderson on the pitch together, we go too defensive. When Ali went off and he came on the game changed, and Columbia started getting further up the pitch, because we dropped back, Brucey tactics sometimes.

Think we'll be seeing Loftus-Cheek back in the fold for the Sweden game.

The guy who hit the bar with the penalty changed the course of the penalty shoot out, so should be mentioned.

Maguire - gets better every game
Pickford - two brilliant saves that changed the game
Trippier - always liked him..still improving
