What I have in common with Ginger, Piskie, Tobes, Stan a several others is that I have enraged HIAG on here - he therefore feels the need to drag me into spats he is having with other posters (as he did last night) because the sad twat has serious self awareness issues and would rather label any stick he gets back as some form of collective conspiracy rather than face the fac that he is a colosall bell end - his choice - but don't cry if it comes back to bite you What I hate most is hypocrisy - and there is a lot of that on here too ...
**** sake learn to read Libby - HIAG may not have made racist comments - but racism isn't the only form of intolerance that should be universally condemned - HIAG has shamefully mocked mental illness - he has labelled other posters as having different types of mental illness and used labels like "window lickers" - would be refreshing to see his usual fan club condemn those comments - but you won't see them - ever - and that's the double standard - seems there is only one form of intolerance that counts on here - which, ironically, is a prime example of discrimination itself - perhaps I have a different view, because the City I grew up in largely accepted racial diversity decades ago
Yes he is your mate...to whatever degree you want to classify it...but we talk to some more than others, usually and as in real life based on who we can agree with and share common grounds with. I can name the people and who they get on with and who they don't. It's life...it's how it works...and you are trying to give him some rope for hope. How many have also taken a pop at Matth who’s admitted to being on the autistic sprectrum? Have they been called out for that? Not really is the answer...... HIAG is HIAG, he’s many things but he’s not vindictive or overtly abusive. I have rather few people I would class as mates in this world Spurlock, but anonymous characters on an internet football forum certainly don't make it into that cirlcle - that they do for you fair enough - each to their own I don't take issue with how anybody corresponds with Matth - but if you'd care to get down off your soapbox and see how I do and judge me on that - then that's fair enough ... and frankly, that's all you should judge me on in that regard
I try not to judge others - they are mainly answerable to their own conscience - pesonally I have quite a laugh with Matth and enjoy the crack - never felt the need to belittle him or wind him up excessively It's the intent and inflection - and whilst I would generally accept your point on HIAG, he has (in my opinion) got overly personal and exceeded boundaries several times when he has been rattled ...
I agree that racism isn't the only form of intolerance and have said as much before about the window licker comments etc. not being right although I think personally there's not a genuine nastiness behind it, more just ignorance imo. Same as I've said before I don't really like the phrase '****s and *****s' which you're more than happy to use yourself along with other terms which could be considered homophobic. Now I'm not having a go at you for that or saying I think you're homophobic as again I think there's no genuine nastiness and its a phrase so to speak similar to 'window licker'. I think both are pretty distasteful personally. That's the difference here, Skiddy is using Spurlocks religion to attack him and call him a child rapist etc. Answer me this Fosse, if I came out and said I was gay and suffered from a disability would you still refer to me as a '**** and *****'? Not really ... the "****s and *****s" label on this forum is not a serious reference but a collective term for all of us to some degree ... and always used in a light hearted manner ... ...as I mentioned, it's about intent ... in marked contrast the "window licker" jibe and also the references to mental people on buses were used as very personal insults when HIAG was under pressure in spats with other posters ... ... but some fair points made by Libby
What I suggest is that you should all step away from your computers for a few hours and go outside and soak up the glorious sunshine and relaaaax...
The Pixie-pede has never been more than a half dozen strong. You at the head, Bambi and Skiddy next, in a perpetual battle to see who can rim you hardest, fastest and deepest. Then, a couple of others. It’s not an attractive trait to be a member of the ‘Pede, and you have to be pretty dozy to volunteer. I get the feeling that Matth is trying to put a case for membership, but he may simply have got lost.
