Kompany seems to be in serious decline now. Injuries really look to have taken their toll over the last season or so.

Japan scored and Belgium had to stop pissing about.
If they do make it through this, then it'll be interesting to see if they go back to it in the next match.

  12. Or as Coco would put it "you Pussy!!"
Neymar may be a good footballer but he's a pathetic individual.
If he reacts to minor pain like this , I feel sorry for his tattoo artist <laugh>

Martinez's decision to leave Nyarlathotep out of his squad and play De Bruyne deep was really vindicated last night...once he stopped pissing about trying to get every Big Name™ into the starting lineup regardless of how that drastically weakens what those players can offer and instead played a team that plays to the strengths of everyone (except Lukaku, apparently)

He's hardly the first Belgium coach to make this mistake, as Marc Wilmots was playing Verts and Toby as fullbacks to accommodate them alongside Vermaelen and Kompany, and until one of De Bruyne or Hazard retires/flounces out from international football the problem will continue.

    Nacer was great yesterday.
Apart from the few super goals we got from him, did he
ever give a performance like that in a Spurs shirt ??

Other than his goal I don't recall him doing anything else - which also happens to be a fair description of his time as a Spurs player.
