    Use lots of kitchen paper or towels to soak it up....get most of it up before attempting any cleaning. Adding water or anything else just makes it worse. I am virtually screaming....I'm surprised you can't hear me from there. Blot it up as much as possible.

    Thank you for your feedback guys on earlier comments. I did not even bother with extra-time as the writing was on the wall. And so it proved. As with a number of other teams like Argentina and Portugal, the Spanish cycle is coming to an end and they will have to rebuild. Germany do it rather quickly, with the French it has taken a decade, the Dutch will come good again as will the Italians in due course. While the Spanish will no doubt feel sorry for themselves, they are a philisophical lot. I also think they put more emphasis on gaining success at club level rather than in international competitions. It happened in 1966 where their clubs were dominant but the national side disappeared in a wimper.
