He is not a youngster, he is 23, so took them a long time, mind you the tight arse Yanks would have used him this year instead of bringing in players who are good enough.
Another out confirmed. https://www.swanseacity.com/news/roque-mesa-completes-sevilla-switch They do realise at the club that there is only a month left of the window and we don't go till the end of August this year.
Yes that’s all immaterial , aren’t you excited by all the hospitality treats that the Club are desperately trying to sell to some overly rich fool
You got to laugh at Jenkins and the club website, "undisclosed fee', yet it's all over the Spanish media of €8 Million + €2 Million add on!!!......
Is anyone actually starting to get just a little worried with the lack of any movement. They cant even use the world cup as an excuse as we aren't looking for players at that level, unless of course they play for Saudi or Panama.
Could be that they are trying to ‘window-dress’ the Accounts - get as many sales in as possible before the 30/6/18 (year end) to boost profits?
Most of it will need to go toward plugging the income gap from last year to this. There will need to be £40M of sales / savings from last season just to break even. If relegation clauses reduce your wage bill by £5M, sales of players reduce the wage bill by £15M, the first £20m of player sales just balances the books. You'll need to reduce your wage bill again equal to the salaries for any new players coming in. Don't think HJ and the board would be able to pocket much after that.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44632392 “I have known Alan through mutual friends for a number of years, so I know how respected and important he is at this football club,” said Potter. “Nobody knows the football club better than him. “He brings an experience and quality that will prove really valuable to us. “He will support the environment here. He is someone for all of us to draw on his experience, mentorship and support. “Alan is an important person to have around and I’m excited to be working with him.”
I might be in the minority here, but I don't get this keep going back to him, I understand him being round the club, but not in a coaching capacity or have I got it wrong. **** mine Trundle will be signing on as a player with Andy Robinson coming back and Flynny will be coming back as a coach, perhaps we could also ask John Cornforth, he has had his time as a coach now lets please move on.
I think it’s a very positive step bringing Curtis back into the coaching team, and I like the appreciation for him coming from Potter, it looks like we are at least getting some unity on the coaching front, cannot complain about this, all positive as I see it!...........
Maybe! But you cannot take away from Curt the wins he got when dropped into the hot seat, especially when Franco was ill.........
