well, potentially.... I'm thinking about selling the home and away shirts from 1980-82. These are both in excellent condition, size L and I literally have never seen anyone else wear them. I have been offered hundreds of pounds for them before but am thinking now might be the time if I get the right offer.

Any bids?

I was given them by a former next door neighbour who turned out for City reserves a couple of times. They were the shirts he wore on matchday.

I'm half tempted to email the club with these pics and say "Next season do these. End of."

Having only started going in 82/83 (the first season that Admiral were kit manufacturers, I think), I'm familar with the home adidas top but have never before seen that white away top with the blue trim (at least I think those are the colours), either on somebody's person or in any match photos from the 80 - 82 era.

It looks really classy - nice and simple. Not too dissimilar to the West German World Cup '82 top. Would imagine that it would command a fair few bob. Probably out of my price range!

How much roughly are we tlaking about? I have no idea but would be interested... I'm also looking for our 1st season in PL home shirt in xl/xxl

i love the way they look ... argentina and adidas made a similar kit... we need to ask for tha ttemplate

Dean25, i may have one laying about, i can look for you...

i have pretty much every shirt ( mostly home kits, away ones hard to get) signed and certified since i started going way back in about 1995/6 when i was a little nipper at 5 years old. lol

its also sentimental as my dad sadly passed away and i am trying to get every shirt (signed too) from every year i went with him. but as for the 1st prem, i remember having a couple of them.. i'll take a look later mate.

It's actually silver with black trim. It truly has to be seen to be believed how god damn good it is.

I was once offered £500 cash there and then and turned it down. I know it sounds a lot but the website classicfootballshirts said they were some of the best they had ever seen but couldnt make me an economical offer as a business rather than as fans.

Amazing shirts. What a difference the Original Adidas logo makes too!!
I'd be interested but what price you looking for?

THE Tiger print shirt from 92/93 went for £100 + recently on e bay,you either love it or hate it,I liked it but many didn`t.
