    So as we have nobody playing for England, we should cheer on Japan, or Serbia, or Portugal should they happen to play England. After all, Maya, Tadic and Cedric are our boys!! whereas Kane et al are not!!!

    That would be fine if we only supported England for Saints players but a fair few of us are English and no matter how we try we still can stop supporting England no matter how they play. It's very annoying. :steam:

    When the West Indies had Greenidge and Andy Roberts playing, I was happily cheering for the Windies as there were two Hampshire lads playing for them, and besdes Greenidge was my cricketing hero.

    What about Wales v Portugal Euro '16? Fonte and Cedric v a 'GB' team with a famous ex Saint and footballing superstar Bale.

    It was Wales for me. Two remarkably similar teams.

    Watching Danny Murphy talking about the press. First time I have enjoyed listening to a man who irritates the hell out of me. The press in this country are waiting to rip into England and he is quite right, this new nicey nicey relationship is false.
