Red is the most important colour in the human spectrum. The eye picks it up better than any other colour. It signals danger. Because of this, the eye didn't evolve to judge distance to red very well. It didn't need to.

And that's why Lukaku was probably a mile offside.

I've only watched 3 full games and a few bits here and there. I think it's been quite good for an international tournament, to be honest.
My expectations are generally low.

Similar. Not seen every game but it's been much better than the last few tournaments

Sven complaining about Red tops intruding in his personal life is fair. Its none football related.
Fat Sam doing the same, no. You were caught being corrupt in relation to football.

I think the fact they're sat there talking about these things is part of the problem. This country always focuses on the negatives.

Look at the montage beforehand; Gazza crying, Beckham's red card, Rooney standing on C.Ronaldo's nuts, penalty misses and so on.

Where are the quality goals, the celebrations of players and fans, the home welcoming in 1990, Platt's goal against Belgium, the demolition of Holland in 96, the atmospheres the fans create?

We are always defeated before a ball is kicked. As much as they try to play things down and lower pressure, the negative crap is still there.

And the manager can never win. When was the last time a England manager was appointed and given a chance?

There are always fans criticising them, they are never good enough

Belgium played with 3 CB's and wingsbacks

And?

Were they trippier and young?

Imo this is a fixation of Southgate.

Walker is badly out of position. He is not a cb. Period.

Stones is a careless twat, an accident waiting to happen.

Imo England are a cm light. Tunisia should pack midfield and England will start lumping it long

I seem to recall thst it was Eriksson.

People didn't want another Johnny foreigner so Capello wasn't liked and from then on its been awful.

Hodson went to how many tournaments and flopped???

I think he got a good go.

You said that England had an Extra CB, which isn't true as Belgium also had 3

Didn't disagree with the rest.

I was talking about the banking and support they get. They get criticised left right and centre.

You mentioned fans not wanting Capello which is fair enough beforehand but once appointed? Ridiculous that he was still criticised by fans
