Roll on the last sixteen in two and half long weeks, that's when it'll start.

That Spain v Portugal game was huge anyway, but a bit of extra spice now that Ronaldo’s team have inadvertently caused Spain to lose their manager.
 
Morocco is good enough to add interest to that group, not that I don’t see the two big boys coming out. Also in Argentina’s group there’s potential for for good games.
 
An old witch lady told me a country starting with P will win the whole dance so you’re looking at, Portugal, Peru, Poland or Panama regardless.

After England I’m backing the Argies..if they both go then it’s any of the under dogs.

Ultimately it will have been a good tournament so long as Brazil don’t win. I love watching the self appointed Gods of football crying

Knockouts affectively start during the last set of group games....and I can always find a point of interest in most games

Yep I’ve got Argentina down to win it. Really hoping our lads can do us proud though. We’ve got the right mix in that squad without any dumb ****ing egos to ruin it. Also decent cover in most areas and a flexible squad. <ok>

I'll watch most games work permitting...so long as something riding on them.

Portugal v Spain will be a good watch as will Egypt v Uruguay tomorrow.

Anyway are we abandoning this thread or wha?

Dunno, match day thread is a sticky so you don't have to look for it so if this drops down the threads I'm abandoning it.
