I have mentioned this before, but being a full time home worker it was rubbed in when I didn't get a snow day off.

I have posted a nice picture of me in the garden having a coffee break before as a reminder to all those who milked the snow day thing.

I will go one better now. Staying a week longer in the US as we went to Florida with the US based family and decided to stay until Friday (was due back today). I still have to work though, but got up at 5am local time to do a 10am-5pm UK time (no lunch or breakfast) for work. Saw a glorious sunrise at 6:30am and now just walked to the beach bar at midday local time:

Long day, been up since 5am local time and had to work till 12.

Then had thunder and lightning (which was very, very frightening)
