Right lads I'm happy to run this years World Cup competition(Im posting the thread now as I'm busy out during the week). Rules are simple enough:5 points for correct score prediction and 2 points if you predict the correct match result.There are also some brucey bonus points as follows
Name overall winner 10 points
Pick a midfielder to score in the group phase 3 points/ 2 points for striker
You can post your predictions in one bulk post or as you go along;once they are in on time I don't care.
Also I'm not including penalties when it comes to knock out phase, the result will be based on 120 mins if it goes to extra time.
So follow my lead below and let's hope we see some fantastic matches and a cracking tournament!!!

I always find this scorer one a bit of a problem. Mbappe, Pogba, Messi, Ronaldo, Griezman

Can you tell me which are strikers and which are midfielders please.

I assume Kane and Rashford are regarded as strikers

All strikers Ron except Pogba.hazard or de Bruyne be good midfield option.its only for the three games in the group stage as well.be great if World Cup was annual!!!!!

Stewards enquiry. Griezmann midfielder????If Ron would have put him in midfield that would have been ok (no offense Ron)
 
uefa.com has him down as a forward (Ron's decision is final though <whistle>)
