Those memories will begin to fade all too fast, Pix, so you keep them alive for as long as possible, yeah? As I said, it's early days with Poch at them moment, Pix. However, I'd like to think that I'll have fond memories of some real glory days, soon, mate.
How long is a piece of string, mate? Thing is, when Poch has won us glory, yeah it will be great with the crazy celebrations down the pub, and all the dancing in the streets, and the open-top parades, etc. But then it's all done. I want to savour the build up to that moment. That's where the true enjoy lies for hardened fans, like me, mate.
He’s been in the job for 4 years.....that’s some build up. Even Stings foreplay doesn’t last that long
For nasty slags go to Printworks mate, Birdcage in particular. Not somewhere I'd go but I know it has a reputation. The Venue is an ok club, nothing as good as Sankeys for House Music in the world but its closed now unfortunately, and most of the folk inside were pill head divs. Spinningfields is good for a night out, as is Alberts Schloss which is just around the corner from Spinningfields. Juicy is a great night at Blackdog Ballroom on Fridays, cheap drinks and entry the music is hip hop and garage classics. Maybe not your thing but worth a go for anybody else reading this who likes their MOBO.
Yeah, but think of the ecstatic relief when Poch finally bolts his load, Tobias! He'll smash the lightbulb, mate!
Not wumming but maybe that's why United are not paying the reported £55m we want for Toby. Makes sense as Bale would be a massive signing and a huge boost to the team and fans
That's what you're hoping, Tobias. Alas! He's demonstrated to the world that his spiritual home is Spurs.
So far he’s shown to the World that he’s not capable of winning a pot mate. I suppose given that fact, then his spiritual home probably is Spurs.
Not sure when our year will be, Archie. Us Yids do not have the same delusion of entitlement as most Mousers. We are content in the knowledge that something special is happening at the Lane, and that good things are on their way.
Maybe mate, I think we need to sell a few players as well so possibly lining up a couple of those. I think we are willing to pay £55m but Levy is asking £70m+ and for a 29 year old I can't see us doing the deal.
Yep, just as I said would be the case (and for which I was mercilessly wummed). Pixie is going to be gobbling like a turkey for weeks, if Alderwiereld doesn't go to United, after the wum-campaign he has mounted over this issue. For his sake, I hope he's planning another "trip" to Canada, yeah?
Maybe for you lot it's special but for every other top side it's known as failure. Spurs are the only team in the top 6 that are not lambasted from every angle when they fail to win a trophy. Small club mentality.
That's probably because until quite recently, we were a mid table side that played attractive football, but posed no real threat to Sky's "Top 4." Then, out of the blue, we stormed the party, over-turned the table, and pissed in Murdoch's soup. Levy is building a legacy, and he's doing it the right way, by putting in the foundations, first.
@Skylarker and @The Liebherr Legacy By the way lads, I've played a lot of golf at Paulton's Park. The front 9 and most of the back 9 are very forgiving.
