I don't know the area very well. It's slightly off our manor, but it's a great venue, so we don't mind playing it. They love us there, and the car park is a decent size for when our American Car Club and Biker lads want to pop across.
It's great that you have those memories of yesteryear, mate. I wouldn't want to take them away from you. I'm sure those memories will grow evermore precious, in the barren years ahead.
Was going to say that's quite a bit further out for you. I think it's the one I'm on about, there's a carvery just down the road from there called The Haywain which is semi decent. A336? Anyway, like I say that's unbelievably local to me so let me know when you're playing there again.
We won't be there again until next year. It was a new venue for us. I saw it on a gigging site, and got our drummer to given them a buzz. It turned out that the current managers haven't been in there very long, and inherited about 12 bands, but they've got rid of all but one of them, as they were dreadful (so the manageress informed me). They gave us a coupe of gigs to try us out, and after our first gig (a couple of months back) the locals said that we were the best band they'd ever had at the pub. We've been promised more dates next year (we're fully booked for the rest of this year), and we usually start organising our calendar around the end of September. I'll let you know, then, Libby. It would be great to get you along to a gig and for you to meet the lads.
Poch will be with us for a very long time, Diego. We've only just begun to build our memories with Poch. It's great, though, that we have our memories of glory yet to come, whereas for the likes of Arsenal, 'Pool and United they're all in the past.
It's great to have lots of memories of seeing my team win the double, winning league titles, loads of FA cups. What trophy winning memories are your favourite for your team mate ?
It is quite weird the way they all seem to revere him; perhsps he's using a Martian mind-ray to control them all.
He's been there 17 years, sacked numerous managers, sold all of their best players, and won practically **** all. It's like Stockholm syndrome with the spud fans. Long may it last
Enjoy bruv If everything goes okay with the lab testing on that - I reckon we'll quickly be one of the top companies in the UK. We have already brushed aside the little bits of competition we had up here.
Spoke to one of my pals at the boxing last night who's brother is well connected at United and he told me we are breaking the bank to try and bring Bale here. Stupid money being talked about and it involves adidas again.
Me and my partner are planning a weekend in Manchester. Whats a good club that has loads of scruffy little slags, and a good club for house music and decent people?
