I’ll reword it. In my opinion, and I’m not alone, given time he will develop into one of the best centre backs anywhere.

You disagree, fine, I think you’re wrong.You think he’s ****, I know you’re wrong.

It’s a pointless argument, only time will tell who’s right.

Well I'm sure you'll come back to this thread and tell me I'm right in 7 years when you've given up hope of him being one of the best in the world.

What are (currently) his best attributes?

Speed, strength, good tackler, athleticism, reasonable anticipation that he needs to improve on. He’s learning about positional sense too..

He’s just 21. In a different league. He has all the basic attributes and has a great coach.

I wonder what a stat comparison would look like with his first season vs Bailly's first for us.

Irrelevant

Baily has far more experience.

He was 22 at the start of last season.

The comparison shows Bailly absolutely trounces Dave in most areas, apart from being a big lump who can head the ball away.

Christopher Samba.

Just my opinion of course.

Of course. Shame Bailly doesn’t get to play more often, seeing how he’s so good.

And he’s 24. Three years older than Sanchez.
