I never knew this. Have we ever played any other international teams? Do you still get any club vs. country friendlies?

Down the years City have played a few national teams and used to have regular tasty friendlies both home and away, against perhaps some surprising opponents - Barcelona, Galatasaray, Vasas, Dynamo Kiev.

I can't imagine many national teams would play club sides nowadays.
