I think Spain have got their mojo back, so I'll go for them. Argentina came very close to not qualifying at all, so I'd be very surprised if they went all the way. Never write of ze Germans though and France might do it, but I think Brazil will fall short too.
 
I don't think Argentina will win it. I don't think the will even get to the semi's.

Obviously it wont be England.

German, French and Brazil squads all look brilliant. They 3 have the strongest squads by far. A lot of players who have missed out from these 3 nations would easily walk into our starting 11.

The strongest squads dont always win it. Its a team game not individuals of course so Spain should be included in the discussion. However its hard to look past Germany, France and Brazil. If I had to pick 1 out of those 3, I would pick Brazil.
 
Individually the French probably have the best squad - but will they play as a team?

Germany for me.
 
I made my Germany prediction without doing any research - I didn’t realise they have failed to win in 5 games now. Austria beat them again yesterday.
They always come good in comps though...
 
Leroy Sane not included in Germany's World Cup squad.

Martial and Lacazette not included in France’s World Cup squad.

Icardi not included in Argentina’s World Cup squad.

Meanwhile, England are taking Danny Welbeck.
 
As mentioned already, Germany have failed to win in their last 5 games.

Spain have only won one of their last 4 friendlies.

Argentina lost 6-1 to Spain back in March. Only played 1 game since against Haiti and only won 4-0.

Portugal haven't won in their last 3 games.

Brazil have won their last 4 games - without conceding a goal.

France have won their last 4 games too.

I don't want to get carried away, but it appears highly likely that England should get to the semi's at least <whistle>

My heart agrees with you CJS but my head reminds me of that game in Munich when we won 5-1 ( and Heskey made it 5) but the Germans still did better than us :(

I was just messing about making the semi's <ok>

My heart says quarter finals and then out.
My head says struggle to get out of the group and get knocked out at the round of 16.
