I’m not sure of the details, but someone I worked with bought some type of ‘posh’ season ticket for City (not ‘corporate’ in terms of being a business , but access to restaurant etc.) However he bought it through F.C. even though it was just for City...and it was considerably cheaper than buying it through City!
I see both sides of the coin. Fair enough really either way, old system obviously more in Hull's interest though, so better now. See even the Allams can do something useful.
The SMC sold the corporate passes, you didn’t buy them from City or FC, so I don’t think that’s correct (a lot of corporate members we’re just people who wanted access to the bar/restaurant/parking etc, many weren’t businesses).
He definitely bought them through F.C.when we went up (he only ever went in PL) No idea how, but he did, and so did his mate. The Club realised there was something up because second season he was contacted and told that he couldn’t have it at that price anymore.
Not necessarily a lie, maybe he just thought he was getting a deal, when actually he was just paying the right money for the package he was on (hence the interest in seeing the invoice).
EDIT Ignore this I’ve seen the other thread now Was there any announcement about the pre season game(s) in Portugal that the competition winner gets tickets to? I’m assuming the winner knows, but didn’t want their name publicised, but if it is mid July might it not be an idea to tell the rest of us in case we wanted to go?!
I'm sure the club have received a great many of these cancellation letters in recent weeks, but I think this Twitter thread is a particularly good summation of how many are feeling...
Just read the whole letter he wrote on Twitter. That is probably the best one I have read on the subject and sums up the feelings of so many fans.
https://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/articles/2018/ticketing-model-update/ As our dialogue with the Football Supporters’ Federation continues in a bid to move forward with regard to ticketing, we would like to assure supporters that current monthly Membership prices will remain the same until at least October 2018. Representatives from the Club are due to meet with the FSF in the coming weeks, and we look forward to having an honest and frank conversation as we seek to make prices not only accessible, but sustainable for the long-term future of the Club. Depending on how talks with the FSF progress, we hope to roll out a ticketing model from October onwards and aim to have clarity on this by the end of July when we will also look to communicate this with you. Thank you for bearing with us. In the meantime, existing Members should hold onto their Membership cards as these will remain valid for the start of the 2018/19 season. Memberships remain on sale and are priced as follows: Zone 1: £21 per month Zone 2: £27 per month Zone 3: £39 per month
In other words get ready for a big price jump and lose another 2,000 plus fans overnight ! By christmas time the crowd will be back to boothferry park levels.
Sticking the boot in somewhat aren't they. Taking the piss. Do what you will, Allam. I can wait. You'll get yours, be in no doubt about that...
What the **** is a ticket module? And why for October onwards, rather than at the start of the season? Clueless twats. ALLAMS OUT !!!
It's not going to be implemented, its a blatant playing for time tactic.come october it will be delayed again, so they can get to january pocket the parachute payments (they have no intention of bringing it in ), then hopefully **** off and leave some poor bastard to pick up the pieces of this great club.
To all of those who haven't, please join me in boycotting home games. The Allams continue to make a mockery of our great club, and continue to show they do not care about what we want at all. He continues to play us for fools. If you love the club, spend all your money on going to as many away games as you can. Let's make away games this year truly brilliant and show what home games will be like once they go. Hoping to beat last years record away games and make it to 20+ this season.
