Ok, I will stick my neck out here - we will go hard for promotion this year with whoever comes in as manager, serious money will be invested and if we fail, Rads will leave. That being the case, Ristac was right all along, I truly believe Rads wants it but if he’s not up to the job (or hasn’t got the cash), he is the stepping stone to finally having owners with power and intent.
Pooh, Pooh yourselves to your hearts content but I sense we are on the cusp of our comeback, boom....
Maybe we should start with an assault on the top half of the table DocThis is the only thing that makes sense. If nothing happens and we just do another Overseas second division troll we look stupid. Obviously we will have a high end manager of some description soon. This manager will have more control on player signings than we’ve seen for ages meaning less control by Orta. Can see 3 or 4 top draw signings. That put together means an assault on the title

Joking aside, I would sooner see MM come in with decent funds but just have a gut feeling this signals big changes in the air. Could be completely wrong but can’t see why the yanks would be chucking money in the ring or why Rad would relinquish some of his shareholding to have a joint go at promotion on the cheap.
As I said in my earlier post, Ristac has said for months he isn’t certain that Rads is the one to make us challenge the elite again but believes he will create a sound enough ship to make us attractive to serious buyers (we all know LUFC has massive potential). I hope either Rads gets it right or Ristac does and think one way or another this is the start of it.
One change I’d like to see this season is no mention from owners or manager of a season end target. I don’t think the idea of saying we’re aiming for a top six or whatever is helpful. Meaningless anyway and only gets some fans hopes up and gives ammunition if things are not going to plan. Whatever happens we should be in for a better season ahead anywayJoking aside, I would sooner see MM come in with decent funds but just have a gut feeling this signals big changes in the air. Haven’t yet. I’m on a desert island hoping for any ship to come along and rescue me. There’s thousands here though. Gonna be some scuffle to get on board when one arrivedIt was a serious question.... I see you have tentatively boarded hms happyclappy for what must be the fourth time.
Genuinely a bit of both. Granted, heart is ruling a bit but head does think something is happening.Deep down is that you thinking or hoping?

In all honesty, I had never heard of Beilsa until Friday (I only tend to follow us these days instead of my previously insatiable appetite for all football) but think that link and the yanks involvement suggests Rad knows Plan A is a no go. As you readily point out, he is in it for money rather than love and I would suggest he could make a tidy profit if he sold now and doesn’t feel inclined to gamble serious money on promotion. My intrigue really lies in why would the yanks be interested in a minority stake in a mid table Championship club? That is not their style.
Unlike previous owners Rads is a very good business man, getting them to invest 10% shows Rads they are not GFH style time wasters. I don’t believe Rads needs that investment but it shows him they are serious. As a potential if less positive take on your posed question.
These business deals are very rarely made in isolation and as I said at the time it is logical to suggest they may be more interested in the benefits of Rads tv deals than lufc, £9 mill is feck all if it oils the wheels and ultimately gets the 49r’s exposure on the Asian tv networks. Paying Peter to rob Paul if you will.

Rads knows the Leeds fans are an unforgiving bunch, he still has the likes of me onside and keeping Orta he knows fans (like me) need to point a finger when it goes wrong and when you’re pointing the blame at Orta (like I am) it buys him more time.
Rads is probably going to go for one last push at promotion before selling up his majority share.
As I’ve previously posted that’s what I’ve seen rumoured. Radz wants another go at getting us promoted but this could become a full takeover if he feels he can’t do it.
We've all waited long enough for a decent owner/manager,coach/players/investment to wait another couple of months is not long in the whole scheme of things.
IMO if things don't work out this coming season Orta will go followed by Radz, The car crash that was LU has been to the repairers and in all fairness is a sellable asset.
With regards to where we should be end of next season, think someone has already said targeting autos or even top six is counter productive getting our hopes up only to be disappointed.
All I wish for at this stage is for a team who play attractive football with passion is that too much to ask for.
Radz has let us down once no second chance as far as I am concerned.
For ch---t sake it's bl---y Sunday morning do you expect sense everyday. No third chance is that better. So if “he gets no second chance” and having already “let us down”you want him out now!

Or would you prefer no second chance![]()
