Their loss. I look forward to watching Denmark and seeing how good their midfield is without him :emoticon-0126-nerd:

Thought game started at 5.30, so missed Cahill's goal. 1-0 England.

England playing okay - except Dele Alli who's lost the ball pretty much every time he's had it

We’ve played well, and could be 3 or 4 up.

I’m not going to be negative in anyway, as we have the media to do that.

So I check the BBC live feed, and after a positive 35mins, they feel they need to just insert negative / pessimistic twatter and text comments. If we play like this in the World Cup, we will definitely make the knock out stages.

So much better than any of the tosh we saw under Hodgson.

Sterling has wasted about 4 or 5 chances now. Doesn’t look up.

And he gets an assist <laugh>

Chilco, you need to get yourself to Russia as a commentator.

He got the assist because he looked up, that was the first time!

To be fair to him, he’s looked up a couple of times and produced muck.

He gave Young the chance, who should have scored. Pretty happy with this performance. Very fluid and lots of movement.

Kane's goal reminded me of Lambert's against Villa in our first Prem win

Probably the best Gaston ever played for us. For whatever reason, we rarely played him that deep again though.

I remember the day clearly until the celebration in the evening wiped out the night.

Beautiful sunshine, quality atmosphere and a come from behind win.

Gaston, the what could have been. The goal that was cruelly robbed from him against Arsenal.

I really really want Sterling to play a blinder in this World Cup. More than anyone he deserves it.

If he comes back with two goals and a new tat, then he's had a great WC. Not sure where deserving it comes in.
    Dive. Yellow. Deserved.

The most frustrating thing about the first half, for me, was the number of times Young could and should have gone outside his full back, but he chose to keep turning inside onto his right foot.
I think Bertrand would have loved the space to get in behind, that Young is squandering.
