  • Rules:

Top 16 teams are matched to bottom 16 (source is FIFA rankings)

Brazil are paired with the worst team Saudi arabia for example

Scores will be assigned according to finishing position in the tournament so rank is

32 - winners + 10 points bonus for winning it)
31 = runners up (no bonus)
30 = 3rd place
29 - 4th place

and so on.

Position will be determined by relative position and rankings which are given by FIFA. Where two teams have identical records a coin will be tossed however usually teams are ranked through all games played and fifa will give final positions.

Examples:
In theory Brazil can win it and get you 32 points (+10 for winning) and saudi arabia might only get you 1. = 43 points.

mid table:
England could get to 8th and serbia 16 = 16+ 24 = 40 points.

Lowest team:

Costa Rica Denmark could both get to knockouts = 16+16 = 32 points.

In this way everyone should have a half a change of getting a result if their teams overachieve but the winner of the world cup should still have a massive say in who wins this.

Russia are ranked 66th, Saudi Arabia are 67th. How have you managed to put 19 teams between them?

Don't ask me i just downloaded the club rankings from 1 to 32 who qualified.

Those rankings are what they are... **** it in other words

when we get 16 i will then do a draw of teams and peopel can flag their signatures etc. or not.. whatever
