Does anybody want a £1000 wager that this is not our new HOME kit for next year?

This Chesh guy sounds like a wise man, we all know that things can change rapidly at ER what may appear set in stone can soon change. Oh wait a minute, Heckingbottom is he still hereyeah but he wouldnt pay out until the first game has kicked off despite the bet being lost early next week.

Morning all, hands up if you get stupidly optimistic about the first few transfers that might be announced, I can’t help myself despite knowing how it will turn out...
1) We’re already linked with some seriously good players, same happens every season, we live in hope deep down knowing we haven’t a chance but we cling on to the hope.
2) The first one we actually sign we’ll look him up on Wiki put up a YouTube clip and convince ourselves he is good.
3) Second one will come in, we’ll look him up on Wiki and convince ourselves he is a good squad player, we need competition for all places.
4) Third one in we’ll look him up on Wiki and a bit more frustration will creep him as we argue between ourselves if he really was on the verge of an International and how he is described back in his native home as (insert one) Next Bremner, The Terminator, Crucifier, Penetrator, Golden Balls.
5) Transfer window will approach the end and we’ll get excited about loaning a PL star only to find ourselves with someone not wishing to be here and believing they are too much of a superstar to be playing for us.
I know it will happen but I still find myself hoping I’m wrong and tomorrow we will sign one of those we really want.

Looks like Derby are going for one last roll of the dice as Frank Lampard becomes manager. Watch for his mate john Terry to follow him

Lee Sharpe has been speaking to Lee Sobot from the YEP about Leeds hopes for promotion!
“It’s a really tough league to get out of and to give yourself the best opportunity you have got to throw some cash at it to get some good people in there,” he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“It’s a no-brainer to me to throw 30, 40 or maybe even 50 million pounds at it for the money that would come in return for the Premier League. It’s an absolute no-brainer.”
Jansson has been speaking o the press about Leeds' season
"Yes, I hope so," Jansson told Swedish paper Expressen about the need for change at Leeds.
"As we have seen this year, things have to happen. It was really bad both on and off the pitch. Leeds wants to go up to the Premier League, that's how the club goes out and talks, and then there are changes.
"We came in the lower half of the second part of the season and it's not good at all." Asked if the difficult end to the campaign with the Whites had altered his confidence heading into the World Cup with Sweden Jansson replied: "No, but it's been a messy season.
"Changes in the team were stricter [in the] second half of the season with more training, which is not a problem for me, but [it was] incredibly messy and a big disappointment."

Sorry to hear that GloryReality bites.

Never knew him do anyone a bad turn and all the pomp never changed him.
Morning Shaks. Reason it backfired first time was we had an imbecile chairman who thought it was a great idea to take mortgages out on players at ridiculous interest rates. No harm spending when you have the money to hand or investors to put it in. At least the Villa fans got a full season and a day out at WembleyIronic Sharp using no brainer in a sentence. Also easy to sit there saying throw millions at it. We did that before and we are still paying for it. Look at Villa, no amount of money guarantees you success.![]()
But are still back in the same league next season as us, but with a massive wage bill and debts.Morning Shaks.
