Lyon playing hard ball and understandably want to drive the price up. I think if we put in a good offer before the WC, they will take it. I don’t think Fekir will start many games for France this summer so not sure that his price will go up.
Did you actually see salah injury. It wasn't dislocated. I agree though. the first thing anyone will do is slam into him and test it as an opponent and he could do serious damage.
Liverpool ‘done deal’ 11:40: Liverpool have finalised a deal for Lyon forward Nabil Fekir, it has been claimed. According to VAVEL journalist Mootaz Chehade, Fekir is in the bag following successful talks. “Nabil Fekir to Liverpool is a done deal,” Chehade wrote on Twitter. “Announcement expected in the upcoming days.” The Lyon ace is attracting plenty of interest off the back of an impressive season, scoring 23 goals in 40 appearances. Awoniyi Update One of Neil Jones’ final acts as an Echo reporter was to pen THIS fantastic piece on Taiwo Awoniyi after travelling to Belgium to watch the Mouscron youngster in action. Neil and Taiwo - who scored ten goals for the Belgian outfit last season - caught up after the game and had a brilliant chat. Now, however, Neil’s Goal colleague Tolu Olasoji believes the Reds have a “master-plan” to get Awoniyi into top-level English football. The Nigerian U23 international has two years left on his current Liverpool deal but will sign new, improved terms before heading out on another loan spell next season. Anderlecht seems to be a reasonable possibility, with the club - who lost Henry Onyekuru as he returns to Everton this season - able to further Awoniyi’s prospects of a UK work permit. Olasoji also reveals that despite not having a short-term plan to use the player at Anfield, the Reds have secured a US visa for the player - enabling him to join the team’s pre-season trip around the States. please log in to view this image
He also said Mahrez was a done deal to Liverpool a while back. A week ago he also said Sarri to Chelsea was a done deal and would be announced within 48 hours. He talks ****e.
Jurgen Klopp wants former Manchester City defender Jerome Boateng to partner Virgil van Dijk at the heart of Liverpool’s defence next season. That’s the word from German outlet Bild, with reports today suggesting Bayern Munich are willing to let the player depart the club this summer. The asking price is apparently set at £40m for Boateng, who struggled in the Premier League earlier in his career but has since made over 200 appearances for Bayern and is likely to star for Germany at the World Cup this summer.
It's going to be another summer of **** isn't it? Hopefully we'll continue to get our business done early and the press might turn their attention elsewhere.
