Was a journeyman full back in mainly the lower divisions in England - 11 clubs.

Did uni studies and coaching badges before becoming manager of Ostersunds in Sweden in 2010. Achieved some success there including promotion to Swedish Prem Division and winning Swedish Cup. They beat Arseanal 2.1 at the Emirates in the Europa Cup last season before losing the tie 4.2.

Suited to a small provincial club punching well above its weight for too long.
Potter will last 5 minutes. They’ll end up with one of the usual suspects thereafter - McCarthy, Lambert, Holloway or even Slade<whistle>
