Different players hit it at different times but they all eventually hit it... How long has Milner got before he starts the sharp slide down in ability? Milner Is a great player to have but he shouldn't be counted on as a quality back up for too many more years.
I thought his slide was supposed to have started when City let him go, he's just improved though! He's a bit of a freak tbh, never tried alcohol and apparently keeps his body in exceptional condition. Hitting his prime at 32? Weird.
for me Milner isn't relying on pace. he is relying on stamina. kuyt looked gone at the end but eeked several good yesrs in Holland and Turkey. Milner won't be about to put in 14km forever. it's down to where he goes and what level imo. he isn't a defensive stand and block midfielder so he has that issue.
Nabil Fékir in today's national team press conference: "Liverpool and my future? I am not thinking about that. There will be discussions with the Lyon President. For the moment, nothing is done."
as i've pointed out before you need another club willing to take them on & in at least 2 of the 4 i don't hold out much hope .
tbh you are right.... bargain bucket players like these need desperate clubs. if sturridge had managed even 10 games.for.west Brom we.might find a sucker. as it stands only a deal with us paying 100k of his wages will shift him
You're wrong with point D. His run has a lot more balance and low centre of gravity - nothing like Emre. Also, he has more pace than Can.
Sturridge - £120,000 - £140,000 Markovic - £35,000 - 40,000 Migs - £70,000 Moreno - £40,000 - £55,000 Ings - £35,000 - £45,0000 (Going with the lower end of the scale) Per week saving - £300,000 Annual saving - £15,600,000 That's a lot of money in wages to be saving with virtually no affect on the team.
ings is on 60k reportedly. sturridge 150k there's a huge amount in the dead wood as usual. it's the cost of doing business at times.
I apologised to him (drunkenly) on Twitter.. . Not that he knew why I was apologising but he guessed I'm sure. I thought a year ago he was done...he looked at sea. But fair play to the man...and interestingly a few players have said it... they struggled with the level of fitness Klopp expected. Milner at his age managed it.
But do you think that's Klopps test? Young/old.... skilfull/worker. Run your bollocks off be as fit as you can to the wire of injury and you'll most likely win the match? And if you get injured trying he'll wait for You? Certain players that have gone young and old under him didn't fancy it.... I'm the whizz kid ... not my job etc. And why the team is now so close... you puke together you are together lol.
